Wood's Hole

Here we are at our last stop before Floyd Fest; Wood's Hole Hiker Hostel! It's a gorgeous hiker hostel that has been in the same family since 1932 but recently re-opened as a year-round hiker hostel. It is run by a wonderful young couple (Michael and Neville). We've decided to stay here for a few days to rest our bodies and do some small day hikes. It doesn't hurt either that the food is FANTASTIC and they have several lovely pets to play with.

A bat that Emily rescued from the Wood's Hole porch.

  1. M&Em, Great bunch of final AT photos - thanks. I think the winning overall blog photo was of the leg shots. Do you realize just how many people you got to stand on their tippy toes and look down at the back of their legs - ROFL. Well done and have a grand finale at Williamsburg/Jamestown. If its not historical enough, make it hysterical. Mike Z.

  2. I can't wait to see you guys soon, although, of course, it's sad that this particular adventure is at an end (for now!).

I study too much, which will be demonstrated by the following comment: don't get too close to the bats! sometimes they have rabies!

have a great last few days ... we've missed you! safe journey home!
